Following their production, cheeses need to rest and mature. This takes place in cheese warehouses or on cheese farms where the cheeses are stored on special cheese boards. We have decades of experience with the production of these cheese boards for both cheese-making plants and commercial storage.
Cheese boards are made from specially selected North-European spruce. We can process the wood as required to suit different cheese boards. For instance, we can apply angles and cut bevelled edges along the short or long sides, enabling us to present a wide range of cheese boards.
- if so required, we will remove resin pockets, replace them with a spruce wedge, and finish this with a filler not based on oil or toxic substances
